DISNAKERJA.COM – British School Jakarta (BSJ) adalah sebuah sekolah independen di Pondok Aren, Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia. British School Jakarta adalah anggota internasional dari Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’ Conference (HMC).

Sekolah ini didirikan di Jakarta tahun 1973 di bawah perlindungan kedutaan besar Britania Raya. Kampus utamanya dipindahkan ke Bintaro pada tahun 1994 untuk mengakomodasi jumlah siswa yang terus bertambah. Sebuah kampus prasekolah dibuka di Pondok Indah pada tahun 1999.

Sekolah ini menawarkan kelas untuk siswa dari masa prasekolah hingga kelas 13 sesuai kurikulum Britania Raya. Dua tahun terakhirnya dipakai untuk program diploma International Baccalaureate.


FOOTBALL COACH ASSISTANT

Job Description :

  • To support the Head Coach with all key aims and objectives of the program.
  • Deliver a Football School Training/Coaching Programme and the teaching of football in the After School curriculum at British School Jakarta.
  • To communicate with Players, Coaches/ teachers and Partners related to Football School matters. To conduct meetings with selected football players and parents regarding progress and other issues, as appropriate.
  • To understand and apply the Manchester City coaching philosophy, methodology and principles are incorporated into the delivery of the programme.
  • To manage and maintain kit/ equipment within the program.
  • Ensure and record all attendance procedures are in place.
  • Oversee the behaviour, discipline and actions of football players during practices, competitions and other activities organised by the School.
  • Assist the PHE Faculty with cover arrangements for absent staff in coaching football.
  • Attend all major school and club football meets where represented, and coaches conferences, as appropriate.
  • Inform the school community of the full football programme through letters, e-mails and the BSJ Bulletin, as appropriate.
  • Keep all statistical records regarding training and competition performance throughout the season.
  • Compliance with BSJ and Manchester City Policies and procedures, including Health and Safety in liaison with the Line Manager, take responsibility for upholding Health and Safety practice within your own working area.
  • Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected or requested by the MCFS Head Coach, the Assistant Head Athletics and Activities or the Principal.
  • Maintain professional conduct at all times in accordance with the OHP manual.
  • Create a positive and accountable work environment which promotes equality and encourages diversity.
  • Compliance with Manchester City Safeguarding policies.
  • To be familiar with, and uphold all, Safeguarding policies and Child Protection and Responsible Use of Data policies and procedures within the school.

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School or equivalent qualification
  • Coaching qualification
  • Degree/Diploma in coaching football
  • First aid trained
  • Safeguarding certificate
  • Have a minimum of 2 years working experience as a football coach.
  • To have played at some level of football
  • Have experience in coaching children.
  • Have experience working with players from varying ages, backgrounds and cultures.
  • Have some experience working with a variety of levels in players.
  • Have experience as a football coach for young children of ages 3 – 18 in an international school or football club.
  • Have experience working without translators in delivery of sessions.
  • Have worked in a football environment both locally and internationally.
  • Have played football at provincial level.
  • The ability to connect and interact within a team environment
  • To be professional and demonstrate clear learning skills
  • To communicate in a variety of settings such as informal, formal, individual or group in English
  • Possess good computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Apple Office software).
  • Ability to travel when required (locally and overseas).
  • Have the knowledge of coaching and developing young players of children ages 3 – 18.
  • Be organised in planning, preparation and execution within a project.
  • Ability to conduct self-review sessions with individual players.
  • Ability to plan and adapt sessions to suit the group needs.
  • Understanding how to evaluate and review programs on completion.
  • General understanding of working in an international school setting.
  • Ability to work individually and part of a team.
  • Ability to challenge learning and development of players
  • General understanding of the School’s administrative system, policies and procedures when working for BSJ. Have insight into the planning and preparation and execution of the MCFC-BSJ Football School.
