ExxonMobil Indonesia Internship Programs

1. Reservoir Engineer Internship

What will you do

• Develop Asset  Integrated Production Modelling & Forecast using IPM Software.
• Perform history match and material balance analysis of an oil field using MBAL.
• Connect multiple well performance models from reservoir tank to surface pipeline network.
• Establish and calibrate complex surface pipeline hydraulic to actuals data.
• Evaluate and recommend the best operating conditions for current and future field performance.

Skills and qualifications

• Currently an undergrad or graduate student in engineering major GPA min 3.5 (preferred education background: petroleum, chemical and mechanical engineering).
• Familiar in using relevant softwares in performing model building, history match & forecasting using well/field management.
• Candidate should be self-motivated, creative and determined in achieving business results.
• Familiar with P&ID (Piping and Instrument Diagram) document.
• Able to adapt, learn new skills, and work effectively in group settings.
• Excellent English written and oral communication.

2. Machinery Engineer Internship

What will you do

• Contribute actively in machinery and reliability engineering activities.
• Perform analysis on Condition Monitoring of major rotating equipment (pumps, gas turbines, compressor) and propose recommendations for operational improvement.
• Work with the Operations & Maintenance team to ensure sufficiently detailed documentations are maintained.

Skills and qualifications

• Currently an undergrad or graduate student in engineering major.
• Familiar with various rotating equipment type and their basic characteristic.
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written and good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Good understanding on Machine Learning concept.
• Preferably experienced in practical.

3. Integrity Engineer Internship

What will you do

• Contribute actively in Corrosion & Integrity engineering activities.
• Perform analysis to identify the optimum and cost-effective chemicals usage (type, optimum dosage, injection point, frequency, etc.) in oil production and water injection system.
• Work with the Operations & Maintenance team to ensure field trial are executed as per requirement to achieve the correct chemical type with optimum rate.

Qualifications

• Currently an undergrad or graduate student in engineering major.
• Familiar with various static equipment type and their basic characteristic.
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written and good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with Corrosion basic concept understanding and related industrial standard.
• Familiar with Chemical inhibitor concept and tools to monitor chemical effectiveness and corrosion rate as per industrial standard.

Preferred qualifications

• Good understanding on chemical inhibitor and corrosion rate monitoring concept.
• Preferably experienced in practical.

4. Facilities Surveillance Internship

What will you do

• Conduct surveillance and optimizes plant
• Perform analysis on Condition Monitoring of major rotating equipment (pumps, gas turbines, compressor) and propose recommendations for operational improvement.
• Work with the Operations & Maintenance team to ensure sufficiently detailed documentations are maintained.

Skills and qualifications

• Currently an undergrad or graduate student in engineering major.
• Familiar with various oil and gas processing facilities.
• Familiar with process simulation software (e.g. Aspen hysys, pipesim etc).
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written and good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Good understanding on hydraulic calculation and fluid properties.

5. Business Developer Internship

What will you do

• Conduct Feasibility Study for Commercialization Schemes.
• Recommend best option from a holistic perspective.

Skills and qualifications

• Currently an undergrad student (final year) with Industrial Engineering/Business background or final year MBA student with Engineering background. Min GPA 3.5
• Candidate should be self-motivated, creative and results-oriented.
• Able to adapt, learn new skills, and work effectively in group settings.
• Excellent English written and oral communication.
• High ethical standards required.
