PT Sumbawa Timur Mining (STM) adalah perusahaan patungan antara Eastern Star Resources Pty Ltd (80%), anak perusahaan Vale SA yang 100% sahamnya dimiliki, dan PT Antam Tbk (20%).

Pemilik Penugasan Kontrak Karya (KK) Generasi ke-7 Proyek Hu’u dan Survei Pendahuluan & Eksplorasi Panas Bumi di Kecamatan Hu’u, Kabupaten Dompu, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia.


1. Vice Kepala Teknik Tambang (KTT)

Accountabilities :

  1. Responsible to support Kepala Teknik Tambang (KTT)’ task and replacement person to follow up duties especially while out of site.
  2. To implementation the Good Mining Practice (GMP) and Mine Safe Management System (SMKP) based on standard
  3. To control and establish a proper mining project base on Company and Gol regulatory requirements
  4. Prepare the database and standard requirement for support project by report to KTT and relate stakeholder.
  5. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholder related implementation of operation standard and to produce a regulation for Site operation/Project.
  6. Update GoI policies/regulation and ensure it follow up and meet the compliance
  7. Maintain a filling system for data on compliance report
  8. Monitor and assess the issues relate technical and non-technical
  9. Willing to work on site with rotation roster.

Requirements :

  1. Bachelor’s degree in bachelor’s degree in Technical, Environmental or Safety Science or any relevant field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mining/oil & gas industry; in coordinating and managing a mining project.
  3. Minimum hold Pengawas Operasional Pertama (POP) License from Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (Indonesian Professional Certification Authority).
  4. Held Pengawas Operasi0nal Madya (POM) and Diklat Mining Safety Management System is preferable.
  5. Having deep understanding and/or knowledge in government policy and regulation to conduct Good Mining Practice.
  6. Demonstrated ability in establishing performance compliance reporting including data management.
  7. Demonstrated ability to assess and analysis the technical and non-technical issues.
  8. Good communication and understanding both in Bahasa and English.

2. Senior Operational Analyst
Accountabilities :

  1. Lead Operational Support Project process from planning to execution by coordinating with other department for compliance to applicable SWP. Highly communicative and analytical in conducting operational audits to identify inconsistencies and defects and create reports as well as recommendations to improve optimization and maximum productivity.
  2. Ensures compliance with all safety and environmental obligations pertaining to mining activities on the allocated shift.
  3. Maintains compliance with legislative requirements.
  4. Ensures mining contractors engaged are managed to meet all requirements under site policies and procedures.
  5. Prioritizes work activities of the crew to achieve production and maintenance targets established in shift planning processes.
  6. Provides leadership to crew members, setting a positive example and assisting in issues of team development.
  7. Performs statutory inspections (as required) of work area and equipment in accordance with legislation.

Requirements :

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering with Underground Project environment
  2. Minimum 5 years relevant/similar capacity as Operation Analyst in mining civil project, leading a small to huge team for construction project in Deep Underground Mineral Drilling and Mining Project
  3. Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately
  4. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, fast adapt with remote site exposure
  5. Provide planning and controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress
  6. Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with each function and other department heads
  7. Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems
  8. IT knowledge & skills including Distribution Information and Management System, work processing & spreadsheet (Tableu & BI), MS Excel-Power Point-Project is a must, Vulcan-Surpac is highly advantageous

3. Site Project Engineer (TPBP)
Accountabilities :

  1. Provide site support for all activities related to liaison officer for the discussion and communication to site base PT STM HSE, Hydrology, Environment, Permit and HR.
  2. Provide admin assistance and preparation of the mobilization for the project team member, contractor and other personnel involved in preparation and execution of TPBP – Hydro Pump Test Program.
  3. Provide support and arranging travel, accommodation, and admin requirement (MCU, doctor, other paper works).
  4. Provide a site guidance if there is any requirement to run a site check and survey.
  5. Provide the site support if there is any information required from site as part of the design, study development, preparation, and execution.
  6. Other site related tasks as part of TPBP program.

Requirements :

  1. Bachelor’s degree in bachelor’s degree in Technical, Environmental or Safety Science or any relevant field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mining; in coordinating and managing a mining project.
  3. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, fast adapt with remote site exposure.
  4. Provide planning and controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress.
  5. Good English skill (verbal & written) is a must.

4. Compliance & Reporting Analyst
Accountabilities :

  1. Prepare compliance report for Hu’u Project based on Gol regulatory requirements and related department/agencies.
  2. Prepare the database for support the KTT duties.
  3. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholder related in term of report preparation and submission.
  4. Update GoI policies/regulation and ensure compliance with project requirement
  5. Maintain a filling system for data on compliance report
  6. Monitor and assess related issues then report to KTT.

Requirements :

  1. Bachelor’s degree in bachelor’s degree in Technical, Management and Social Science or any relevant field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of similar or relevant experience.
  3. Having deep understanding and/or knowledge in government policy and regulation relate Mining and Environmental Industry.
  4. Demonstrated ability in establishing performance compliance reporting including data management.
  5. Demonstrated ability to assess and analysis the government regulation and issues relate to provide document report.

5. Forestry Advisor
Accountabilities :

  1. Prepare document application for the PPKH (Borrow to Use Forest Permit).
  2. Regularly advise the exploration project teams on forestry protection and management measures.
  3. Assist Forestry Leader undertake audits and/or inspections at operational sites to ensure that forest permit compliance conditions are implemented effectively and in compliance with Indonesian legislative requirements.
  4. Responsible to the measurement of logs, uploading of the records to the SIPPUH (Forestry Online System.
  5. Responsible to monitoring the planting activity of the watershed rehabilitation/revegetation following technical guidance document/forestry regulations).
  6. Provide Forestry semester report of Land Use and Annual compliance.
  7. Responsible to Assist annual monitoring by related forestry agencies related to the fulfilment of the borrow and use permit’s obligations.

Requirements :

  1. At least 6 years’ experience handling/supervising forestry activities, forestry reporting, rehabilitation and forestry studies/surveys on major mining, infrastructure, or energy projects.
  2. Experience in delivering rehabilitation programs and coordinating field teams.
  3. A sound technical knowledge and understanding of forest ecology and habitats in Indonesia (and preferably NTB Province).
  4. Experience working on major extractive industry projects in Indonesia.
  5. Knowledge of Indonesian forestry legislation.
  6. Current or past certification as a GANIS-accredited forestry professional.

6. Forestry Assistant
Accountabilities :

  1. In conjunction with the Forestry Coordinator, optimize STM’s current Forestry Administration / Management system.
  2. Ensuring wood administration complies with forestry timber management obligations.
  3. Collecting and processing data on affected trees monthly.
  4. Coordinate with tree cutting contractor regarding recording affected trees.
  5. Verifying online book measurement to define classifications of affected trees.
  6. Inputting tree data collected during timber cruising and auditing of impacted trees into the data base.
  7. Ordering, scanning, and printing tree barcodes.
  8. Organize field activities related forestry obligations.
  9. Other duties as required by the business.

Requirements :

  1. University qualifications in forestry science, forestry management or a relevant discipline.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of forestry experience in a mining company, organize and supervise field team in conducting forest rehabilitation and reclamation following regulatory compliance and permitting.
  3. Current or past certification as a GANIS-accredited forestry professional.
  4. Possess experience in the use of GIS.
  5. Possess a strong understanding of forestry issues related to the mining industry and Indonesian forestry legislation.
  6. Possess knowledge of log measurement.
  7. Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
  8. Possess computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.

7. Procurement Analyst (Site Base)
Accountabilities :

  1. Perform daily contracting activities with regards to purchasing & service of materials and/ equipment requested by Users ensuring that they are processed under company’s standard, procedures, and regulations.
  2. Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of incoming PR, adequacy of scope of work and any other exhibits, develops and reviews RFQ, and supervises procurement process in accordance with Procurement Procedures.
  3. Conduct pre-qualification before preparing Request for Quotation (RFQ) or tender document.
  4. Studying market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials and visiting trade shows, factories.
  5. Conduct analysis on Contract and PO terms (technical, commercial and legal terms).
  6. Provide recommendation on how the best/economic/efficient way to award the tender and comply with Vale norm.

Requirements :

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant study with 3.0 GPA from a possible 4.0 total GPA.
  2. Minimum 7 years of experience – preferably in mining exploration project or oil & gas industry.
  3. Good English proficiency (verbal & written) is essential.
  4. A strong knowledge & skills in civil construction (FIDIC contract), site camp support, price agreement, material management and local content requirements.
  5. A strong knowledge & skills in procurement process especially on sourcing & Contract/PO administration; negotiation with local supplier and problem solving.
  6. Familiar and able to work with local supplier/community in remote area; and
  7. Good skills in operating Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point & SAP.

8. OHS Engineer – Hydro Pumping Program
Accountabilities :

  1. Facilitates the implementation of PT STM OHS management system and Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Pertambangan (SMKP), and auditing process associated with the applicable safety management system, including develops action plans in conjunction with stakeholders to address deficiencies identified during the audit process.
  2. Ensures company’s and other applicable safety rules & standards are fulfilled during work execution within company’s premises.
  3. Facilitates risk assessments for the Hu’u Project (project-wide and task-specific, with a focus on Hydro Pumping) with an emphasis on outlining practical controls that will reduce the impact, frequency and severity of risks.
  4. Ensure that the projects OHS Task Management Plan / Annual Programs, Employee Training Matrix and competency register are updated and maintained to ensure employees have adequate skills and competencies to identify and control risks.

Requirements :

  1. Minimum Bachelor (or equivalent) min GPA 3,00 in related position.
  2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a role, preferable within underground mining and/or Mineral – with a focus on Hydrology, Hydrogeology on exploration projects.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Good English skills (verbal & written) essential.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
  6. Strong knowledge & skill related to risk assessment method such as HIRA, JSA, MoC;
  7. Familiar to facilitate incident investigation by using recognized investigation methodology.
  8. Strong knowledge & skill related to Safety Management System Audit, preferable has SMKP auditor certificate.
  9. Possess valid AK3 Umum, ToT (Train of Trainer) & POP (Pengawas Operasioanl Pratama).
