Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) didirikan pada 7 April 1948 sebagai otoritas yang mengarahkan dan mengoordinasikan kesehatan masyarakat global dalam sistem Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa. Bekerja di tiga tingkat di Organisasi (global, regional dan negara), lebih dari 7000 staf WHO di seluruh dunia berkolaborasi dengan pemerintah dari 194 Negara Anggota dan mitra lainnya untuk mencapai visi pendiri WHO tentang pencapaian tingkat kesehatan setinggi mungkin oleh semua rakyat.

Melalui kantor negaranya, organisasi tersebut memberikan dukungan teknis kepada pemerintah negara-negara anggota. Kantor pusat WHO dan 6 kantor regional memberikan dukungan tambahan.


Digital Communications Officer
Description of Duties:

  1. Develop and manage the online communications of WHO Indonesia (i.e. website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and other relevant social media) in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  2. Manage digital campaigns for WHO health days and UN health-related days.
  3. Deploy scheduling and analytic tools to optimize WHO social media channels and inform communication strategy.
  4. Design social media and website content.
  5. Technical support in video and photo content creation, editing and production.
  6. Perform editing and proofreading functions for website and other digital content.
  7. Support in developing various documents including press releases, fact sheets, background documents and stories.
  8. Support in implementation of brand and corporate identity during WHO external and internal events.
  9. Identify training needs for strengthening social media and web story-telling capacity and participate in the delivery of internal workshops and trainings related to content creation and engagement.
  10. Support in building internal communications capacity.
  11. Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  1. Essential: Relevant Master’s degree in communications/public relations/international relations or another relevant subject.
  2. Desirable: Post-graduate studies or PhD in communications/public relations/international relations or another relevant subject.
  3. Minimum two years’ experience in digital communications/social media agency/corporate communications/content management or similar.
  4. Experience using a style guide and visual identity guidelines across different media.
  5. Four or more years of experience in digital communications/social media agency/corporate communications/content management or similar, ideally within an international context.
  6. Experience with an international organization/NGO.
